Laura + Grant’s Pippin Hill Wedding

{Planned by Maureen McKenna of just a little ditty}

Grant and I went to high school together, so it was wonderful to reconnect with him and get to know his beautiful fiance, Laura, throughout the planning process.  Laura grew up in New Jersey and Grant grew up in the Shenandoah Valley so their day was perfectly summed up by their first dance song, “Country Boy’s World” by Jason Aldean (take a listen!).

Their ceremony took place in the iconic UVA Chapel, (despite Grant being a Virginia Tech fan!), followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing at Pippin Hill Farm. Gorgeous florals and décor made it a magical night for everyone.

Their combined styles made for a beautiful southern wedding -- and we were thrilled to be a part of it!

Jenny + Sam: High School Sweethearts

Family. One of the best things about a wedding is getting to spend time with family and friends. Family is very important to Jenny and Sam and that was very evident throughout their May wedding day. Having been high school sweethearts, you could tell Jenny and Sam were just so excited to begin their lives together as husband and wife.

The ceremony took place at Grace Episcopal Church in Keswick, the church Jenny has attended with her family her entire life. Guests were then invited to Jenny's family's farm for the reception, where everyone in the family helped out to make the day special. A Pimento served a delicious family-style meal and gorgeous floral arrangements created by a family friend accented the tables. Jenny and Sam didn't need extravagant decor or bells and whistles, family and friends were all they needed.

It was a treat to be involved in Jenny and Sam's big day. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
