color pop!

I met Stephanie a year or two ago when she approached me for an article she was writing for the Hook. Ever since then, we’ve been friends! We’ve worked on photo shoots together, she’s worked events with me — and caught up over a cup of coffee here and there, just to touch base. She’s a great writer — and her blog proves it! {For those of you who haven’t read the Fete Blog, you should definitely check it out!}. She just got hitched over the weekend…and I was thrilled that she asked me to make her bridesmaids ditty bags! Knowing Stephanie, I knew that her wedding was going to be one for the books (or should I say blogs?!)… lots of amazing details and pops of colors to be seen!

I can’t wait to see more photos…but for now, here is a sneak peak!

from these to those!

Ashley recently sent me her grandfather’s ties, her grandmother’s skirt and a favorite dress of her own… and voila… a new life for each one in ditty bags!!

Dana and Kevin

{see image gallery}

Enjoy these images from Dana and Kevin’s wedding! The two tied the knot at Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia. The bride and groom had individual ice cream cups mailed all the way from North Carolina and that was just one of the many examples of how this wedding represented the couples fun, loving spirit. It was a memorable day and a treat to work with them!

sunny days chasing the clouds away!

Here is a sneak peak of Larrissa + Michael’s wedding day! They were married at Clifton Inn two weeks ago and despite the rain (and lots of it!), it was a gorgeous day with lots of happy people sharing in the celebration.

I loved being a part of the planning process, the wedding party + the big celebration! It’s fun to wear more than one hat, especially for one of your best friends!

{and thanks Tom Daly for these images… you’re a rock star!}
