daria’s ditty…

I met Daria ten years ago. It was the first day of our first year at UVa. We both lived in the same dorm, a couple doors apart. And we’ve been friends ever since.

Daria married her best friend last weekend at a sweet home-thrown wedding. She had the perfect weather and was surrounded by all her friends and family. There are more pictures to follow… but here are a couple I snapped…

Daria wore her mother’s wedding dress — a Mexican style pure white dress made. As a gift, I made her an all white ditty bag — with different textures and shades of white (which, I was amazed to find, there are a lot of “pure” whites out there!).

Stay tuned for the bridesmaids’ custom ditties…that Dar and I designed together!

She loved them… and it was so much fun for me, throughout the day, to hear the girls asking “where is my ditty bag” or “which ditty did you get?”.

Shannon planned everything down to the details — and the entire evening was proof. Here you’ll find some photos that Meredith and I took throughout Shannon & Bill’s amazing day. What a treat to be a part of…
